Anom-000, which we will henceforth refer to as "God's Door", is the first anomaly we were made aware of. While its precise location is unknown, it is believed to be above a farm not far from Edinburgh in Scotland.
The first reported sighting of God's Door was in 1953, by a woman named "Georgia Fritz". Her full account was discovered after her death in 1972, written in her jorunal. The full account is as follows:
"I used to go on long walks every morning, but almost 19 years ago, after the encounter, I became too afraid to even go outside for longer than a few minutes. On the morning of my last walk, I was walking through a forest, by myself as I was not married to Aaron at the time. I eventually reached the edge of the forest, when the trees thinned out and eventually opened up into a field.
I had never been out this far, but I had time before I needed to return home, so I decided to walk a bit further. However, just as I took a step intothe field, I looked up at the sky and was taken aback by the site of a wooden door, floating in the air. I estimated that it was around nine or ten metres above the ground.
I tried to justify the impossible sight of the door, convincing myself that it was a matter of perspective, but while keeping my distance, I slowly walked around the door, and it remained in the sky. It was not being held up by anything.
However, half-concealed in the dirt just below the door was a perfectly circular stone, with marks of some old forgotten language scratched into its surface. At the centre of the stone was an engraving depicting multiple rings adorned with eyeballs making up a sphere, with a giant eye in the middle. The sphere had three pairs of wings sprouting from its back.
It was then that I heard the door above me swing open.
Walking backwards and looking up at the door, I watched as the door opened inwards, just enough for a hand to reach through it and grab onto the edge of the door. It was a human hand, but the skin was stretched tight around the bones, and the nails were so long and pointed that they far more resembled claws. I could not discern the owner of the hand, but whatever it once bore semblance to, humanity had long forsaken it.
Without hesitating even for a second, I turned and ran back towards the forest. I sprinted through the trees and refused to glance over my shoulder out of fear that I would see that creature chasing me. I made it back home, slamming the door behind me, and refused to leave for the rest of the week.
Whenever I did go outside from that day forwards, I was always filled with an overwhelming sense of dread. I never told anyone about the door, not that anyone would have believed me."
Over the last few decades, there have been many more stories of people's encounters with God's Door. Many attempts have been made to enter the door; however, the door is yet to be successfully opened.
Nothing more is known about God's Door.
