A.C.E. stands for "Anomaly Containment and Extraction". The goal of the A.C.E. is to respond to reports across the country in order to capture anomalies and learn more about them to provide further insight into the unseen world.

Julian Riverrun, the founder of the A.C.E.

The A.C.E. was founded in 1957 by Julian Riverrun. As he grew up, Julian had always been fascinated by the supernatural world, and it was this fascination that led him to establish a company revolving around the capture and study of supernatural entities. However, as more of the unseen world was uncovered, Julian quickly realised that there was far more to this undiscovered side of reality than just the supernatural.
